Info: Ujima Radio CIC is Bristol's leading Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) arts and media social enterprise and the largest BAME-led organisation in the city whose vision is for an integrated, multi-cultural Bristol where people of all cultures and communities are contributing to the city’s growth and diversity.

Ujima provides a platform for artistic, cultural and creative expression and partnership work, including employment training and mentoring with the University of Bristol, UWE and many other public bodies.

Since its inception in 2008 Ujima Radio CIC has enjoyed many successes, being the winners of the National Diversity Awards (2015) and the Community Radio Station of the Year (2016) as well as four other radio and community awards.
Mission.

Ujima aims to use radio, cultural heritage, arts, media events and Outside Broadcasts to bring together the diverse communities of Bristol to celebrate cultural diversity and challenge inequality. It seeks to inform, represent, educate and entertain to celebrate the heritage of BAME communities in the region and to provide opportunities for under-represented groups to develop skills and experience in the city's cultural and media sector.

What We Do
-We Broadcast on FM and Online.
-We Celebrate African and Caribbean cultures through music and informative talk.
-We Provide economic and community development opportunities.
-We Provide a media platform for communication, community development and increase social capital.
-We Provide Media Training and Consultancy for community organisations, businesses and individuals.
